I founded this practice to be a place where clinicians and clients are seen as valuable, whole, and uniquely important. I hope this is felt when you walk through the door.

I am curious, open, and highly relational. I love getting to know who you are and building a trusting, safe space that is just for you. With an integrative approach, we will work together to develop a deeper and more loving relationship with yourself and others, create new habits, and practice new skills. I use techniques from intensive training in Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1), and Positive Discipline (among many others) while considering your culture, personal beliefs, and values.

We are based in Austin, but I work with children (10yrs+), teens, and adults from all over Texas. I specialize in managing symptoms of anxiety and perfectionism, and am passionate about empowering individuals who are struggling with trauma, loss, or difficult transitions in life. I especially connect with high achievers, “peace-keepers”, or those who feel like they do not fully fit in. Many of my clients find me during a time of transition, such as starting college/new school, relationship changes, or career changes. I often hear that my clients feel stuck or trapped in unhelpful behaviors or thought patterns and want to find the freedom to just be themselves.

All I ask of my clients is to come as they are and to be open to learning new things about themselves. My goal is to provide an unbiased outside perspective in order to promote insight, spark growth, and help you feel empowered to overcome your life stressors.

As a therapist and a fellow human, I believe that our life experiences can interfere with the trust we have in ourselves, leaving us with thoughts like “I don’t know what I want”, or “I don’t deserve XYZ”. With me, therapy is the process of reconnecting with yourself in order to turn up the volume of your powerful intuition and inner wisdom. Through this process, I hope you will be empowered to move towards the life you envision for yourself. You’re capable and worthy, and it’s all possible.

I am honored to work with people from all walks of life, and I feel most called to work with adults, especially women and LGBTQIA+ folks. I enjoy working with adult survivors of abuse, including systemic abuse, and abuse endured in childhood.  Orienting towards social justice is an absolute priority for me, both in my personal and professional life. I acknowledge that cultural competency is not a destination, and commit to a lifetime of continued learning to best serve all people who may walk through my door.

I align with a non-pathologizing approach to therapy. This means that I view “symptoms” as traits or behaviors that our minds and bodies have adopted to protect us from further harm. Yes, even the parts of ourselves that cause us distress, or interfere with our relationships, or feel hurtful... even these parts are trying to protect us from harm. I believe one powerful way to move towards healing is by strengthening and reclaiming our connection to our bodies through our minds. I am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, which informs my holistic approach to mental health; the mind, body, and spirit are so connected, it is essential that they work together to help us heal. As an eclectic therapist, I pull from more than one modality. I am trained in EMDR, and am drawn towards working with Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness, but know that each client will have different needs, so we'll work together to find what fits. Lastly, I value joy and humor, so I hope that we will laugh together too!

I strive to make you feel safe, and seen, and I deeply believe in your resilience.
