Natalie Paige, LMFT-Associate —
Supervised by Kristen Pierce, LMFT-S
Hello! My name is Natalie, and I’m glad you’re here!
As a family therapist, I love learning about the intricacies of family dynamics, and I recognize that not one individual or relationship is exactly the same. We are impacted by our individual identities, interpersonal relationships, and larger systems within our society. I prefer a client-centered approach to therapy for this very reason - your story is unique and you are the expert of it!
We can all feel “stuck” at any stage of our lives - as a young child feeling big emotions, as adults experiencing conflict in relationships, and as family members trying to find a new “normal” after a life transition. I love working with children (6+) regarding emotional regulation and peer relationships and individual adults who are seeking to take control of their anxiety. I especially enjoy working with couples and families to build stronger relationships with themselves and each other! My goal as a therapist is to be a safe, non-judgemental presence and facilitate an environment where you can truly feel heard. Together, we can work on emotional awareness, conflict resolution, healthy boundaries, effective communication, and stress management.
I utilize an integrative approach with my clients, bringing in concepts from narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and solution focused strategies. Since you are the expert of your story, I want to honor that and pull from tools you already have in your pocket to get “unstuck.” We are going to explore together what’s working and how we can grow.
I look forward to meeting you!
*in-person and virtual therapy options available Tuesday-Friday; some evening availability.
The Whole Me
As someone who struggles with anxiety herself, I love finding new ways to embrace “self-care,” especially related to mindfulness and creativity. I lived in Colorado while I was in graduate school, and there I found a new connection to nature that I am learning how to incorporate back in Texas! I love doing anything that will get me outside in the fresh air, including running and long walks. I’m a person who enjoys keeping busy on my free days, and my crafting interests are always changing… Pinterest will never be rid of me!
